When Criticism Doesn't Count

Oil Pastel on toned tan paper Dear Artists that are Starting Out: I wrote this blog entry for you. Everyone is an artist and I care about you not being discouraged. I hope this helps.  There are two types of people who criticize: people who don't actively make art and those that do.  Fellow artists, if you loved something you made, but felt discouraged by a stylistic opinion, don't take it seriously.
