SCENTED FELT TIP PENS INK QUALITY:
While the ink exhibits a smooth flow on paper, its pigmentation is lacking, resulting in insufficient coverage. It requires multiple layers to achieve a solid, vibrant color, and even then, the saturation falls short of the desired intensity.
However, I do like how light and comfortable it is to hold.
THE SCENT:
Good news, I don't think this will end up being the gateway drug for the little ones. It had a nice quality to it like a subtle version of Strawberry Shortcake & Friends toys. Once on paper the scent ceased to exist. I was intrigued by some of the unorthodox scent choices. Patchouli? Really? Is it for writing notes to your enemy? In general, I actually like the smell of patchouli, but I find it overwhelming. Not the case with these pens. All the pen scents are not strongly scented, so you're safe!
RECOMMEND?
Yes, they're not bad to write with. I do not recommend drawing with them.
ARTIST PENS INK QUALITY:
The Artist Ink Pens exhibited a scratchy feel on paper, making them less enjoyable to use. Achieving a consistently solid line proved challenging. The pen barrel features sharp sections on the casing, which felt somewhat rough on my fingers. On the positive side, the brush pen excelled at filling in larger spaces, offering a more satisfying experience.
RECCOMEND?
This pen might be discouraging for new artists due to its subpar writing performance. While not terrible, it falls short of the standards expected from artist-grade pens. It could be suitable for young artists who are not yet focused on intricate details in their sketchbooks.
