I am trying to teach myself how to paint with watercolors. It has been fun and I wish I tried using them sooner.
I always loved Cate Parr's and Samantha Hahn's watercolors. I tried to recreate an image that was in their light style, but also an original of my own imagination.:
Then I tried to something that was purely me. I made a watercolor piece inspired by a photo of Lisa Bonet. It came out looking very Sci-Fi which I love. Available at

I read an interview with Alexa Ray Joel. I can't find the article, but it inspired me to make a watercolor of her. She's very beautiful and I appreciate her desire to succeed. I love how she finds balance between her vulnerability and strength. Available at
